The PVP is incredibly fun and rewarding when you come out on top but yeah at the beginning it can get confusing.Īt some point you know where the most contested rooms are (green and black keycard) and you can avoid it or go for it if you feel lucky. Me and my friend first learned one part of the map, then another part and so on. After a couple deaths you get a feel for what/where to watch out.
You will die a lot in the beginning and you won’t even know from where. Calling an elevator also makes noise that can be heard quite some distance so beware of the rat attack. With time you learn which announcement is which extract (I still don’t know them. You know that someone activated an extract by the announcement in russian. Every time you activate an elevator or the other extracts it will spawn 3 raiders near you (this is why almost everyone activates them all quickly to farm raiders fast and dip). To extract you need to either activate one of the elevators or the (not always available) parking garage/cargo garage. Protip, if they spawn with an AK eith a cobra mount and a valday, then take the cobra mount and not the valday scope, since it saves 1 slot (which makes that attachmebts a 50k slot value item).
Violet keycard full#
Don’t always take the full weapon and only take attachments, mags (which you can empty for the additional space) and armor/rigs that save space or are expensive on flea market. Its super easy to wait for the raiders behind a closed door (assuming they have spotted you and will rush you) and always wait a couple of seconds before going near a dead raider because they sometimes throw grenades when you kill them and they don’t properly show grenades animation (sometimes). Learning labs is difficult af and before you attempt to murder all PMCs focus on the raiders, they give nice loot and they need to be engaged differently than normal scavs. You can play passively and hide in a room and hear what is going in around you (you get a feel for where fights happen and where people are) or you can play aggressive, which will get you killed a lot in the beginning but rewards you with experience. You can always go in geared (VAL with SP6 is strong af) but in the beginning go with the mindset that you will lose what you have with you that you are only there to learn the map and hotspots and get killed by your regional streamer. If you intend on running labs sometimes, I recommend doing your first 20 runs or so on a budget (I did lvl 4 armored rig from ragman 48k and a hunter with a scope like OKP-7 dovetail, m80 and 4 x 10 round mags, comtacs and no helmet).
